ItalianQue saw this whole fight live. Back when major title fights still came on regular T.V. It was a hot night, must have been like 85 degrees outside and inside the house was even hotter (before central air yall). It was action packed...I was rooting for Norton because I hated Holmes.RESPONSE: I hated Holmes for years and I was rooting for Kenny too but as the years have passed I have to admit Larry Holmes was a great fighter. Took me a long time to come to that conclusion. So I hear ya.

Not to mention a brutal straight right (I recall Randal Tex Cobb taking the best straight right from Holmes I've ever seen. Of course, Cobb had a head like a rock and just smiled. Then why does nearly every boxing expert who observed and studied the incident say that dehydration was a huge factor. You obviously have a very basic, and not to mention flawed, understanding of the physiological functions of the human body. A hydrated brain has extra cushioning provided by the water...a dehydrated brain has none. Ask any doctor what they think about boxing while dehydrated and they will tell you it is extremely dangerous and negligent. You're just some know-nothing douche.

Robinson was a better boxer, sure. He was a good mover; but La Motta was a tough man, and deserves to be mentioned as one of the greatest. You've got to be great, to beat the greatest. Beating Robinson was a real achievement. Marciano was a great fighter too. I liked Marciano, La Motta, Robinson, Frasier, Ali, Roberto duran and Sonny Liston. Marvelous Marvin was a great too.

Theres no way you watched the Hearns vs SRL 2nd fight if you actually think Hearns dominated. Knocking someone down doesnt mean you domnated the fight. Ray clearly had Hears hurt more than Tommy hurt Ray despite the knockdowns. Ray won rounds 1, 5, 6, 7, 10, 12 clearly. Watch the fight again and watch the rounds in between those knockdowns. Also you forget Ray had not fought in 5 years before fighting Hagler and was naturally 147 pounds.

The point of the film wasn't to demonize Jews. The fact is Max Baer was intentionally misportrayed in the film as a villain since it makes the end of the film more intense and glorifies the hero, Braddock. Since Baer's character was portrayed as evil why is it a huge deal that the star of David was reduced in size? What's more important - historical accuracy or pointing out that the bad guy is a Jew?
