thank u /i have started the wiccan way a few monthes ago i have the scott cunningham book an i love it, as so i am a solitarey wiccan, im in ohio northern part and there is no covens around here, i highly agree with u on all practices,and and i was greek orthadox growing up, then born again christain, i was not a happy person untill i discovered my true calling{wicca} i am at peace with myslf now, my the gods n godesses bring many blessings to u an yours,i hope to hear from u/:}

Wicca is a pagan belief believing in a mother goddess of fertility/ known to non pagans as mother Earth and a father god of nature. The godess is represented my the moon and the god by the sun. Wicca isn't essentially witchcraft in itself but it is a nature based belief that encorporates elements of white witchcraft and healing.

YOU ARE a beautiful Witch. I'm interested, but I'd first like to know about which types of Witch/Wiccan groups are out there and which of those are the largest. Perhaps also some defining differences between them. If I do this, I wouldn't want to be surrounded by a bunch of freak shows but would take it seiously and would want support from good people. i know thats hard sometimes, but unfortunately you living under his roof, but just let him know that the devil is a christian concept, theres no devil in wicca, wicca is peaceful and the spells are nothing more than personal wellness and appreciation. Again, im sorry and hop for the best ;)

Yes, I find that there are two views of wicca or paganism, the hollywoodish (but still real because there are people that choose to make it so) and the traditional. Faithless witches, or a tainted faith? To my knowledge there IS a corrupted form of Wicca, who do not celebrate life, but rather the contrary. Maybe it should not be called Wicca, but dark paganism or something such, I dont know. I dont think its common but still. They have hollywood to help recruit. :/
