It's cooled by the front intake fan.
By: bman47555. on 30 Nov 08, 05:43:12
he could have just stuck the hard drive in the 3.5 inch bay under the dvd drive and removed the whole cage
By: mudyan. on 24 Nov 08, 17:33:01
Thats why i like modular power Supplys, and thanks for the video, now i know how to keep the environment of the case "clean" 5/5 =]
By: bizz0b. on 21 Nov 08, 08:43:51
Yeah, might as well drink gasoline. You're going to be dead in a few years.
By: us3rnotfound. on 15 Nov 08, 08:09:46
Quite a waste of time. Just use the damn thing, it's gonna be extinct in a year anyway.
By: feverofhell2. on 15 Nov 08, 00:08:27
Hey Bill is there anyway i can make my motherboard tray black without painting it i,ve seen akasa pax mat stuff could i place this on my motherboard tray?? or is this bad idea i won,t paint cuz i normally wreck stuff like that when i try change it
By: Bragshou. on 12 Nov 08, 18:09:44
could have drilled some holes at the botto of the backplate and bring the lower wires from behind back through the backplate. It removes all the wires on the bottom.
By: daveolso. on 10 Nov 08, 02:47:29
you could mod the power supply with molex plugs. That way you can still use your power cables.. but only the one you need.

freezer 7 pro pwnz!!!
By: tz496. on 06 Nov 08, 16:41:27
i spend $242 on both ;) Even with a modular PSU, you want to keep some cables together others at specific angles (i fear one of my hard drives sata connection rips again from pressure if i wont tie it :) )
By: G7130. on 02 Nov 08, 18:55:09
ArmenianSOADfreadk, cables rip open??? Been modding for years never seen it.
By: ArmenianSOADfreak. on 19 Oct 08, 20:05:46
hiding the main motherboard cables behind the mobo tray is good but thats really bending the wires dont want them ripping open!
By: rmalik23. on 16 Oct 08, 05:38:28
it's cpu and yes! it's extremely important to keep your cpu cool! it will last long and run faster. plus, if you overclock, you can get insanely high with proper cooling. i can overclock my q6600 G0 to 3.4ghz on air cooling. i have a xigmatek hdt s1283. i don't ever really need it that high though. i just wanted to see if i could do it, ha!
By: hain84. on 05 Oct 08, 19:51:58
nice paint job. very informative gave me some ideas.
By: HazzyTrix. on 05 Oct 08, 11:50:17
some people would rather only spend $1.99 on cable ties rather than up to $500 on a modular psu.
By: HazzyTrix. on 05 Oct 08, 11:41:01
wow.. i didnt even know i needed a fan for my pcu
By: AchmedOG2008. on 04 Oct 08, 13:28:53
Very nice guide and very nice case with its paintjob, but with this case i would spend some money for a better system. But its ok....
By: tamatama14. on 03 Oct 08, 02:54:21

any hints on how to do good cable management when connecting 3 satas to a hot swap bay on a zalman gs1000 case ? its a nightmare and so close to the bottom fan ( underneath )
By: girlsdrinkfeck. on 07 Sep 08, 14:14:00
i got a modular cable psu and it seems so much harder , its also hard having 3 hdd's and needing 2 12v cables for the 4870x2 :( , my old gt800 and power supply cablemangement was so much easier

Great Video. You guys do a great job of showing how to keep cables out of the way. I love how you take time to explain what you'll be doing before you start the job. Very professional.
