I totally agree, Cake are absolutely top notch band. Everyone are raving about the flobots and handlebars.I think flobots influenced by cake. They have been doing it for years. Gabe Nelson very underrated bassist.

So was I...Dude, what a sick concert. I wish they played Sheep and Nugget, but it was still a fucking sweet concert. Best was definitely Comfort Eagle, when the entire audience hollared Dude during the chorus. Or Never There when they did the same thing

I've been lucky enough to see CAKE twice. The first was in a really small venue, which ROCKED. I was about 10 feet away from the band. They kick so much ass it's not even funny. Not only do they have some great grooves, but John is a top-notch performer; at least the shows I've been to. He's extremely funny and it's funny how he gets the crowd into it. "Come on left side, you're better than them! So many hands agreeing on one spot". I'm gonna go to a CAKE show as much as I can forever lol.
