I loved how Luke says that he loves Noah, and is so in love with him too. i'm glad he said that because loving someone and being "in love" with someone are two different meaning on it own, and when he said both it really bring another level to the growing love of Luke and Noah. AWESOME

Yes, editing in the previous kiss was sorta cheating, but people here on YouTube have been dying of exasperation to see another kiss. Since Luke and Noah DID kiss yesterday - we just didn't see it because of the cutaways - I merely re-inserted what was cut out. Ha.

Yes, this story line moved fast for a soap but I don't think it's entirely resolved. Noah's dad may still try to harm Luke, Noah will find out and then cope with the fact that his dad murdered his mom, and I bet Noah & Luke will find other problems when they begin dating.

They have set him up as a nutcase who is capable of anything. We've seen in a flashback now that he murdered Noah's mom, so we know his anger toward Luke could take a violent turn. The show may very well play with that story line for a while, next, keep us in suspense.

AsThe World Turns is a daily 1-hour soap in America. Luke & Noah's story line is only one of many stories the show cuts between, so Luke and Noah only have a few minutes every week. I don't think soap shows ever "finish" a story, really - they keep story lines going with tension and problems to keep viewers tuning in day after day.

From what I understand, after the second kiss, the network got a whole crapload of negative responses, so in order to keep everyone happy, and keep the show on the air, they had to cut back on the 'intimate' scenes in reponse to the viewers and such... (even though THIS veiwer sees no problem with it...) Course they could just be saving up kisses for the upcoming sweeps period!!

No, we didn't miss any episodes. There was no scene showing Luke going home from the hospital, just like there was no scene today with the therapist. That is just how soaps are, they sometimes take shortcuts. Remember, Luke and Noah are only two of many characters on the show and only get a few minutes screen time every week.

Yes, I agree. European shows can be much more open about this without having to worry about all of the religious nuts who protest, write angry letters and boycott companies who buy commercials on any show that shows gay people realistically and favorably. We can only imagine what Luke and Noah would be seen doing in a European soap, or if the show were on HBO, or whatever.

This is a little bit like our society: we know that there are gay people and gay relationships everywhere we turn to, but somehow you just can't see it because everyone is hiding! Everybody knows that nuke are 2 gay men but you hardly see them showing any affection, just because some viewers might get hurt???? That's hypocrisy! There is apparently a limit to what American daytime commercial television programs feel they can show. This isn't on cable TV, it's broadcast free over the air to everyone. I appreciate the fact we have a story line about gay teenagers at all. Apparently the producers or the broadcast network do not want to risk upsetting some viewers by explicitly showing more affection between the characters.

Be glad that it is moving slowly. Rushed couples on soaps = death. Slow moving relationships = supercouples. The longer they take to have sex, the better. Not too long though or people will move on. A year tops.

Wow, i'm from holland and here in holland i checked As the world turns today, and it's still in the fase that Luke is coming out to his parants. So we're allot behind here. But i have watched all the parts of this Luke and Noa storyline so far..I was just nailed to my laptop for hours. It's just sooo beautyfull. It is on CBSTV in America at 2pm Eastern Time Monday through Friday. However, Luke and Noah are not in most episodes. They only about one episode per week. All of their scenes are uploaded here as soon as they are broadcast, which is probably a better way to watch the show than to wade through 5 hours a week looking for their 10 minutes of screen time.

The show would not phase out Luke because Van Hansis is a regular. Noah (Ben Silbermann) is more vulnerable, because he is just a guest star on the show. As The World Turns is a very low rated CBS show with only 1.9 million viewers a day so we should be happy they have this gay story line at all. It was very brave of them. They have received a lot of negative letters from anti-gay people.

What the writers are doing with Luke now is actually typical of how these kinds of shows operate. Good people that we like can suddenly change and do stupid or even mean things. The writers are trying to keep us interested in "what will happen next." Luke and Noah's story line is in a bit of a lull right now. Not much is going on at the moment because Luke and Noah had a lot of excitement recently and it needs a break for a while. At the moment the show is focusing on other story lines.

Luke and Noah, together or separately, will always have problems to deal with, because that's what keeps the dramatic tension of the show alive and viewers tuning in. Nobody lives happily ever after on this type of show because soaps never "end" like, say, a movie does. A movie can have a happy ending. Soaps are on TV Monday-Friday for year after year. Characters may get phased out but as long as they are on the show they have to keep having problems to deal with.

Luke and Noah have so far been in 2 or 3 episodes every week. It looks like they will be on Wed, Thurs and Fri this week. They were not on yesterday but the end of the show had a 10-second preview showing Luke sleeping in his hospital bed, then the camera panned up to show Col. Mayer glaring down at him. So we're not done with Noah's psycho dad yet.

WOW, this is such a twist in their relationship! Why can't parents be more understanding of their children's feelings! I'm glad NOAH is so aware of his feelings for LUKE! It's too bad LUKE got shot to make their relationship closer! Thanks for keeping us up to date, on the story! I just want to give NOAH a BIG HUG, and make him feel wanted! In between the time the Colonel first comes into Luke's room and the scene where he tries to tamper with the IV there was a scene where a nurse came in and told him to leave because only familiy members could be in the room, but he came back. I hope that's true. In these daytime dramas, though, one problem is quickly replaced by another. That's how they keep us hooked, to see what's going to happen next. It can never be smooth sailing for any character, so Luke and Noah will always have some sort of problems to deal with.

What I want to know is, why on earth is Winston so, is 'obsessed' too strong a word here? with who is in his sons life?? He kept noah away from his mother and then does everything he can to keep luke away from him, he didn't like Henry around him, from what I can recall, and was practically forcing him into a relationship with Maddie I believe Maddie actually said something along those lines once?
