"how can it not be related to religion if its RELIGIOUS INTOLERANCE YOU STUPID GIT" That is like saying the jews were 'intolerant' to hitler's concentration camps. YOU STUPID GIT !
By: evilofisalm. on 01 Dec 08, 22:46:35
basically all religion stinks and there fear of people having an open mind scares them{hence this shit}
By: Ozzyman200. on 01 Dec 08, 13:49:29
An ideal world is certainly a lot further off with the religious nutjobs, their genocides, their thought-police, their delusions. It's dying out now, but there're still a few god-botherers who just won't flush.

"the idea of a utopia is such a fairy tale idea." A beautiful quote from a christian who faith peaches his lord reigning in peace forever. So you agree that life under Jesus would be a totalitarian regime. Interesting. And you follow this tyrant because...?
By: Bockatadi. on 01 Dec 08, 08:48:16
PUNCH YER HEAD FER JESUS!!
By: TheChristianDefender. on 01 Dec 08, 03:54:31
well take your ragging on Christianity and shove it up yours. Seriously you walk right into everything. And the idea of a utopia is such a fairy tale idea. There is no utopia because everybody in this world has a different opinion and is unique, so to try to establish a utopia is a totalitarian movement, especially when it results in the killing of millions. My spiels are obviously too much for you to handle so I'm tossin' you out the window.

without converts the power is nill. Christianity(in fact every religion) diminishes the value of life in favor of some supposed post mortum immortality. Any way you slice it they worship death. Atheist who believe this is the only life seek to maximize life and living for all. So take your stupid fucking ragging on utopia and shove it up your whoziwitz.
By: TheChristianDefender. on 30 Nov 08, 19:52:24
Well, 1 and 2 were alright, until you had to sneak in number 3. It has never been taught that the crusades were fought to win converts. I keep handing the Inquisition to you, but that's all your getting, because it's the only honest killing in the name of God. Now as far as secularists go, they would use the excuse of a SECULAR UTOPIA as justified means for killing millions. Secular Utopia being an atheist philosophy, atheists must be accountable, such as christians for their ancestors. Fair.
By: TheChristianDefender. on 30 Nov 08, 19:48:45
I never said it wasn't related to religion, I just said it wasn't the problem. Intolerance is. And really what are you hoping to accomplish with putting things in all caps and calling me a retarded name? Really what is it?
By: Beorn86. on 30 Nov 08, 19:18:40
That caller is totally lost, completely relying on circular logic
By: kolzarzor. on 30 Nov 08, 17:42:44
how can it not be related to religion if its RELIGIOUS INTOLERANCE YOU STUPID GIT
By: damianpoirier. on 30 Nov 08, 14:31:28
my understanding is that their mission was three fold 1) acquire religious artifacts 2) gain control of the holy lands 3) convert people. Control of the holy land was desired for numerous reasons. Chief among them was artifact claim and control (prevention of damage, theft, etc), prevention of desecration by infidels etc.. And this was for power and control of the talismans that could be used to win and retain and control converts.
By: Ozzyman200. on 30 Nov 08, 12:52:36
Religion is such a curse on the world. It's left nothing but blood in its wake. Shameful.
By: TheChristianDefender. on 30 Nov 08, 08:28:33
ok...what do YOU think they were fighting over?
By: ItachiRaikiri. on 30 Nov 08, 07:56:42
Your examination is true as far as it goes but it doesn't go far.... Religions act as a trigure and occasion for conflicts I agree that the deeper CAUSES are always economical....
By: damianpoirier. on 30 Nov 08, 07:47:59
yes and why were they fighting for it? (note if you reply with "they wanted the land" Then you get a big fat zero for your total lack of honesty)
By: TheChristianDefender. on 30 Nov 08, 07:46:13
your vocabulary is about as vast as your intellect. I bid you adieu.
By: sonykroket. on 30 Nov 08, 07:40:03
You're a reli-joke, bible-fucko.
By: sonykroket. on 30 Nov 08, 07:39:06
Why don't you take that bible and shove it up your ass, bible-dipshit. Nobody goves a fuck about your silly little fairytale, dickhead.
By: TheChristianDefender. on 30 Nov 08, 07:33:52
I think your little brain is pooped. I'll spare you of trying to think of a name. I'll give you points for trying.
By: TheChristianDefender. on 30 Nov 08, 07:33:11
yes. It was holy land. It can also be green land, dry land, wet land. LAND! Christians and Muslims wanted it for its holy value, just as the government today want the middle east for its oil value. Same principle. The big issue is Land, not God. It could've been ANY religions fighting for it, including atheists.
By: damianpoirier. on 30 Nov 08, 05:02:53
the only vale of the land to the cursaders because it was holy land you frakking idiot. They didn't travel and fight all the way from home for olives did they?
By: sonykroket. on 29 Nov 08, 09:19:31
TheChristianDefender = preaching bible-muncher deluxe.
By: TheChristianDefender. on 29 Nov 08, 08:16:57
well if I'm bronze-age then you're bronze-age because we live in the same time period. I think mine was best, calling you sonycrotchlick. See, that was creative. Cussing doesn't make it more clever. Keep going and I'll let you know when it's a good one.
By: TheChristianDefender. on 29 Nov 08, 08:14:20
no YOU are avoiding the point. I know the war was a goddamn holy war. It was not a war over Gods, it was a war over land. That's the fact. Get it through your thick candy shell. I'm done with you, you loathsome curd.
