Sir Plays-a-Lot Posted by: lactosetheintolerent
Video duration: 44 seconds Questing for the "Orb of Spoon". Back in 2000, my mate Andy and I did this in an evening. Our first attempt at animation and only 2 hours from conception to render. To be honest, you can tell, but "don't fear the cheese" ;-) Just a bit of old fun with a few silly voices. Display Video Comments | Hide Video Comments | Add Comment |

I live near derby and agree with you.. Derbyshire is spoiled by Derby.

Hopefully, it would have washed Derby away. It wouldn't be missed, that's for sure. But don't take my word for it - ask the parents of the late Shaun Dykes.

I'm glad we havent had such devastating rainfall over this summer.. we live up near Matlock and the canal that runs through our garden usually floods the surrounding areas... it doesnt normally reach the house though :)

Wow, scary to see how much water is running through Derbyshire, and the speed it's travelling at! Excellent video and bound to be great archive footage for the future.

Top video! Hadn;t reaslised just how bad things were in part sof Derby - thought we'd got away with it compared to other places. Love the "Training as Usual" shot! Plus the look on the other cyclists faces once you've passed them. You can just see them thinking "well he's just gone through and not drowned - so what the hell!"

We live up on the hill over Milford way, top of the valley from this. My neighbour has lived in his house 56 years and he said he's never seen it this bad before. Quite something, especially after reading that article on the the 1960s on your site. Thanks for posting this. Your crazy riding home through the water like that ;)
