Tom Sito would also join Disney during the renaissance era (1989-1999). He's probably most famous for being one of the writers on "The Lion King". Correction: Brad Bird now works at Pixar, not Disney (though technically they're now part of the company). He did have a short tenure at Disney, animating the bear scene in "The Fox and the Hound" before moving on to this film.

How do you know how many trees there were when the Pilgrims arrived? I mean... there was a lot of city building, logging long before people were conserving. Anyway... this cartoon is teaching an important message about the importance of conservation vs. uncontrolled capitalism. After all, look what happened in New Orleans. One of the major factors was the removal of the natural deltas for corporate needs with no replacement. This story isn't just about trees and logging you know.
