I can't help but notice she changes a LOT of the melody. Originally the only thing she changed was a little bit of the timing and a note or 2 in the chorus. I prefer the original but she is clearly amazing whatever way she wants to sing it.

This is how Judy should have done the song in the first place. The arrangements on this live version are brilliant, and she's singing with some top notch musicians. After seeing and hearing this, the original studio version that actually went to the radio just sounds tinny and ameteurish.

I saw her sing just a few months ago (in 2008), and she doesn't appear to have lost much, if anything, from her amazing voice. She was a true "pro," too -- great performer, great between-song patter.

Not a damn thing. I was going back and forth with some moron that called me a baby killer because I was a "soldier who took part in an illegal war." I simply told him that I was not in the Army, but the Marine Corps. Another guy wrote to let me know that I will never see the horrors that he saw in Vietnam. I told him he was probably right, since I was shot twice in Iraq and medically retired from the Marine Corps. This has turned into a Blog.

On August 14Th 1965 I was at the Cow Palace in San Francisco during a sound check for a show that evening. The whole place was empty that morning, only the groups that were to perform were there. Sony & Cher, Beau Brummel's, Lovin' Spoonful and the Byrd's. I sat there with my Band The E-types and watched as they started into a song that I had never heard before. It was called "Turn Turn Turn" What a way to hear that song. Some photos of the Byrd's from that day are in my "Live" video.

Keen eye! Believe you are right. I agree. Love that sound that McGuinn gets on his Rick. I read that he used a tons of compression to achieve his patented "jingle jangle" sound. The most underrated guitarist in the history of rock music. Awesome band!!!

Looks like a 1965 Gretch 6192 Country Club,it has the standby switch as a 6192 and the 1960's "space control" bridge.The 6122 C/G's bridge was right up next to the pickup and straight and most C/G had MOP inlay under name on headstock--maybe I'am wrong--what do you think,I like the Rickenbacker 360 :)

Yes, it was an incredible time then. Rock and Roll was just becoming popular and the girls were crazy for it. The British Invasion had just happened and it was a huge deal.
