This song and video makes me cry. I know it's about a man and the violence upon a woman, but I was physically abused by my mother for years, and no one ever came to my aid either and it was no secret. I am glad I made it out alive. Domestic violence sucks! People lets stop the violence please. Please. Thanks for the video it is powerful. I can't think of two more perfect musical artist to make a song with that much meaning. If anyone is being abused my prayers are with you.

This is a beautiful song and I love that there are still artists out there with a message. There's a women's shelter in my area for people who are in abusive relationships like this one and I am so proud of the work they do. Anyone in a relationship like this should know that people do care and there is somewhere to turn.
