At the start, you notice they start timing immediatly before the left turn. Yet they stop the timing immediately after the final right turn where there is still a good 300 yards straight! "Porsche is claiming the GT-R that did 7:29 was not stock. They bought GT-R in US for benchmark and ran on the ring. The best run was 7:54 while 911 Turbo did 7:38 and GT2 was 7:34. They suspect Nissan put semi-slick tires for the time. Nissan is denying the claim and insisting the GT-R was stock and a Japanese publisher's video as evidence. Nissan commented they are willing to offer advice for Porsche to max out GT-R's performance."
